Biography
A graduate of film studies and documentary course in Wajda School. Author of films and literary forms. She wrote and published two novels (HORROR VACUI and OTOLITH), a poetry book (PLEXUS) and a couple of short stories.
A hunter for the surreal.
Her latest film works are THE FIGURE, a poetic comedy about a gigantic plastic pope and HOSANNA, a short narrative that also lightly deconstructs a few religious myths. Right now she is working on a short fiction, a Polish/Belgium coproduction called "DEER BOY” and a documentary about disappearing memories ("THE BLACK CURTAIN"). Her films have been shown and sometimes awarded on festivals allover the world.
Winner of the WARTO Award in the film category (2014), nominated for Barańczak literary scholarship award (2015).
