剧情简介：In "Lend Me Your Eyes," filmmaker Lu Yao confronts the shadows of her bipolar disorder and the suffocating grip of suicidal thoughts. Sheding the weight of rationality, Lu chose go to study documentary filmmaking in the United States. When she back home again, she encountered three blind individuals from Ningbo, China, whose profound insights into love and life ignite a flicker of hope within her.
Through her interactions with these remarkable souls, she uncovers the roots of her fears and distrust of love, stemming from her mother’s self-sacrificing devotion. Gradually, she learns the courage to love and to be loved, recognizing the beauty of vulnerability. As the camera becomes an extension of her heart, Lu gave her camera to her mother, striving for honesty and reconnection.
