剧情简介：Asleep or wounded? Are the soldiers dreaming of archives or are the archives dreaming of them? From the Vietnamese-Cambodian border, a son posted to the front writes to his father, who lived through the First Indochina War: two wars, two generations, and weary bodies starting over. In the guardhouse, the soldier is on watch. In the night, the coucal becomes his ears, his vigilance, his breath. So long as it is singing, he can breathe. When it falls silent, danger is near.
