Four families in a Heartland town are tested in a single day when a tornado hits, forcing paths to cross and redefining the meaning of survival.

Lawrence Jefferies is a guy who's found the flow in his life; he knows how to trust his gut and follow his instincts. Driven by a loving curiosity and strong sense of adventure, he lives his life with a freedom and confidence most men envy. Hugh Greerey, by contrast, lives under the influence of his self-consciousness, struggling to connect to a deeper sense of who he really is. There is a power and intensity to Hugh's spirit which he fights to hold in check until the two meet by happenstance and a defining moment between them opens one into his humanity and propels the other into his soul. "The work is a found footage work: i.e., a montage of short clips from existing films. The films are from all over the world, including Fran c e, mainland China, Hong Kong, India, the US, etc. Each of the clips shows an image of a clock marking the time. The work lasts for 24 hours, and it is synchronized with the time of the location where it is shown. For instance, if you see the work in London and it is now 11:25 AM, then you will see on the screen a clock or watch pointing at exactly that time. It has been shown in London, New York, and Venice. It received an award in Venice. " - Hector RODRIGUEZ http://www.whitecube.com/exhibitions/cm/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_Marclay
