Aadi, who is raised by his father's faithful employee, learns about how his parents were cheated and killed by Nagi Reddy. Enraged by the injustice done to his family, he decides to confront Nagi.

Veera Reddy (Ahuti Prasad), his wife and their child Aadi Keshava Reddy (Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr./Jr. NTR) return to their home estate in Rayalaseema from America. Veera had left his father's vast estate under the management of Siva Reddy (Rajan P Dev), but realized that he was corrupt and cruel to the villagers. Siva discovers that Veera is intent on distributing the estate among the villagers so they can provide for themselves. Since Siva doesn't wish to lose his lordship over them, he murders the family. Aadi escapes the massacre with Veeranna (Chalapati Rao), a trusted agent of Veera, and is raised as his own. Twelve years later, a grown Aadi is attending college where he meets and falls in love with Nandu (Keerthi Chawla). He returns home from his exile in Hyderabad and meets with several villagers, only to find out that they have been falsely imprisoned for years for the murder of his parents.

Aadi Mimansa is the story of two feuding families located at the edge of a tranquil small town in Odisha. It brings in to focus the struggles, aspirations and the tragedies of two friends, Arakhita Babu and Khetrapal Babu, placed at the opposite ends of the caste hierarchy. Though Arakhita Babu is a brahmin and Khetrapal Babu is from a low caste, they share a dilapidated house as tenants. Their friendship transcends the caste, culture and language divide. But the seeds of discord is sown by an old Brahmin woman who poisons the mind of Arakhita Babu's wife against Khetapal’s wife regarding a clogged waste pipe. The discord between the two families becomes intense so mich so that the families stop talking to each other. Khetrapal Babu decides to vacate the place. However, the solution to their problems comes from the most unexpected quarters and harmony is finally restored.

The story is a rom-com based on a misunderstanding between a brother and a sister. Kavya (Namitha Pramod) is ACP Gautham Krishna's sister. Her family has received a marriage proposal for her, but she's not keen to marry so soon. Under constant pressure to get married, she runs away from her house and incidentally comes in contact with Babji (Aadi), a loan recovery agent in Hyderabad. Seeing both of them together, Kavya's brother mistakes the situation and thinks they are eloping. He sends a police team to arrest the couple. Chased by the police, Babji and Kavya run away into the forest and take shelter at Dora Babu's home in Aadi's village, where he introduces her to his family as his best friend. When things seem to be going just fine, Kavya's family attacks Babji and his family with the help of yet another gang. What happens next in the film builds the rest of the plot on which the whole movie is based.
