2009年，强台风莫拉克带来的洪水和土石，冲毁了许多位在山区的原住民部落，而政府主导的重建工作极度缓慢，许多原住民被迫远离家乡，搬到数十公里外位在平原的组合屋居住。高雄藤枝（Hucida）部落中74岁的Cina Alis和她的儿子，是少数拒绝搬进这些慈善团体捐赠的组合屋的布农人，他们衷心希望有一天能再搬回山上…

七十四岁的希娜·阿利斯（Cina Alis）是高雄桃源藤枝部落的布农人，她和儿子、媳妇以及三个孙儿在六龟租房子居住。阿利斯每天有很多事要做，即便要跋山涉水回到旧部落去看自己出生时的石板屋，对她来说也不在话下。从1939年的集团移住，到2010年搬入永久屋，阿利斯这辈子和族人已经被迫搬迁了许多次。莫拉克风灾后，藤枝部落塌陷，重建的希望十分渺茫，大部分族人都放弃了，只有包括阿利斯在内的少数人仍在等待，期望有一天能搬回山上。
