Rio de Janeiro crooks rove about, performing petty tricks to survive, and get involved with a woman who steals cars.

Shot with remnants of film negatives from various Brazilian productions, the film tells the story of a girl who, upon entering an old cinema in the center of Rio de Janeiro, finds herself trapped in a complex labyrinth of mirrors, visions, and spirits.

Xavier, Miguel, Johnny, Ricky, and Charlie (the members of Menudo) decide to take a hot air ballon to a concert and end up crashing in the woods. The boys have their own adventures (jumping in the mud, skateboarding, stealing motorbikes, playing practical jokes on each other, throwing sea sponges, and meeting beautiful girls) while the record company tries to get them back so that they can perform in concert.

A young editor (Esteban) will find that he is a prisoner on his new job: an "editing island".

Eight friends will travel in a trailer from Argentina to Mexico, in order to attend Rock-A-Palooza, Latin America's most important rock concert.
