Jainath is born in a lower-caste family, consisting of his father, Raghu, and house-wife mother. The humiliated Thakur sets a trap with others in the community that will ensure that her uncle gets enough wealth to get her married to an elderly male - while Jainath will be arrested, brought before the Maharaja - and sentenced to death.

Sefer, a fisherman from the village of Mitari in Rize, is in love with a girl named Zekiye. Although Zekiye loves him, she refuses to marry Sefer because she finds him rude. However, Sefer kidnaps her and takes her by force, and Zekiye, unable to bear this insult to her pride, runs away from home. Sefer searches everywhere but cannot find Zekiye. Some time later, he hears that Zekiye has fallen into a life of prostitution in Istanbul. This time, Sefer searches for her in Istanbul and, just as he is about to give up hope, he encounters Zekiye. He is determined to kill her and restore his honor.

Each episode, police inspectors Orhan and Selim try and solve puzzling cases with the help and guidance of forensics. Professor Sevil Atasoy, a forensic scientist, also joins us sometimes to tell relevant anecdotes.
