Sanne (Hanna Obbeek) loves stories about ghosts and other mysterious things. Her father Lucas, is a famous ghost hunter. During a holiday Lucas is asked to chase ghosts of the former cruise ship 'Rotterdam'. Sanne is very happy to hear she and her little brother Thomas can come along. On the ship she meets ghost Bobby (Nils Verkooijen), a boy of her age, who has been wandering the ship since the sixties. Sanne decides to help Bobby.

Love between two youngsters leads to a dispute between two families.

Bobby Dazzler is an Australian television sitcom produced by Crawford Productions starring singer John Farnham as the title character: up and coming pop music star Bobby Farrell. The other regular cast members were Maurie Fields as Bobby's father Fred, an old vaudeville performer; and Olivia Hamnett as Bobby's officious manager Della McDermott. It was aired on the Seven Network during the summer of 1977-78.The term bobby dazzler was originally a Lancashire dialect term for someone who is strikingly-dressed.

Robert Castle is the idealistic pastor of St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Harlem, and also the cousin of filmmaker Jonathan Demme. Demme's affectionate portrait of his cousin traces Castle's story, beginning with his first parish assignment, in New Jersey in the early 1960s, in an increasingly African-American-populated neighborhood rocked by violence and civil rights protests. The film raises intimate discussions of race, faith and family, while also showing Castle's daily routine as a pastor.
