This film takes a look at the Portuguese community of some 30,000 people settled in Montreal, focusing in particular on the family of Manuel Borges, who arrived in Quebec in 1967. It is divided into ten episodes, each one with a central theme, in which young writers discuss various fragments from interviews, conferences, symposiums, and lectures by Borges. Pedro Mairal, Mauro Libertella, Romina Paula, Tálata Rodriguez, Juan Martin Sklar, Wison, among others, comment on topics related to Borges such as writing, the library, Buenos Aires, the world, the Nobel Prize, and blindness. Yara (Verônica Cavalcanti), a girl who cleans the house, Romão (Fabiano Raposo), a boy who does little service, and Vladimir (Paulo Philippe) are his helpers and plan the robbery of a rare and unpublished work by Borges, which Napoleon says save.
