Sometimes the dreams that come true are more disappointing than the ones that don't. Uninspired and under-fulfilled, is the state in which we find fledgling television writer, Tessa Crane, (Vanessa Donley), who is forced to re-evaluate her life when faced with the harsh true nature of her "dream job." 冬日，北京城中村。傻子大庆一家三口和三个贴小广告为生的年轻人来顺、小飞、阿骏住一个院子里。大庆总是在屋顶补天，来顺也喜欢待在屋顶看书。大庆家的狗一直在叫，吵得小飞、阿骏补不了觉。小飞、阿骏找到了新的娱乐方式，折磨那只狗。狗终于挣脱了跑了出院子，大庆跟父母刚好骑着三轮车从外面回来。车躲让不及，翻车。大庆父母回了老家。过完年，来顺在路边遇到了那只狗……
