Ria, a happily married suburban housewife, reaches the age where she feels as if life is passing her by. Being taken for granted by her butterfly collecting dentist husband doesn't help. So, when the opportunity for an affair comes up she tries to decide whether she loves her husband enough to be faithful to him.

It's summertime. Sacha and Nina are gently getting bored in the countryside. There's the thrill of first love, but also the end of adolescence.

In an abandoned apartment there are former spouses. Barricaded, the husband, thus, trying to escape from the criminals who hunt for compromising photos. Prince (Mohanlal) is a race car driver and the son of industrialist Bharathan Menon(K. P. Ummer) and Sreedevi Menon (Sukumari). He lives a happy-go-lucky life style spending time racing cars, entertaining his nephews in his farm house and hanging out with his close friend Vettikkal Sadashivan (Jagadish). Sadasivan introduces Prince to his relative Pavithran(Nandhu) who seeks help in kidnapping his girl friend. In a comedy of errors, Prince and Sadasivan sedate and kidnap another girl with the same name(Aishwarya).

Alexey is shooting a movie about himself. He is in search of a boyfriend. Everything would be alright, if Alexey's mother could accept his sexuality. Alexey comes to visit her and admits that he likes boys, saying 'Don't you anticipate any grandchildren from me'. We find Alexey at Tarkovsky film festival, where he apparently came to rest. Alexey meets Grisha, and a stormy holiday romance begins.
