Pacala is an important hero in Romanian popular tradition. He is always making fun of everything wrong with the human behaviour such as stupidity, greed or vanity. His attitude and actions always bring damages to the mean, evil and materialistic people. So beside the jokes, the movie has this philosophical layer, undoubtedly because Pacala's independent way of being, free spirit and his love for the nature creates a way of seeing life, bringing joy. Filmed in a very beautiful part of Romania in 1974, the movie had an important success at that time and it is considered one of the most loved movies in Romania ever. Like the hero, found in many stories and jokes, the movie forwards the spirit of true freedom and pure link with the nature, forgetting about times and governments.

"Polonia" is a humorous space based on political satire. Each week, an analysis of current events is carried out through a series of sketches where the protagonists are politicians, journalists and media people. "Polonia" was released on TV3 on February 16, 2006. In 2007, he won the Ondas Award for the best local television show. In 2011 he won the ATV Make-up Award. In 2012 he won the Zapping award for the best entertainment program. At the moment its eighth season is emitting. The seventh season closed with an average of 595,000 spectators and 18% share of screen. Seven years later, the program has almost 8,400 minutes of gags, more than 350 imitated characters and more than 3,850 sketches written, recorded and emitted. The film was shot in Tudora, Botoșani County, and depicts the life of peasants under the harsh rule of the boyars. It recounts the events that took place in the village of Halunga in 1907, when peasants resorted to violent actions to obtain the property deeds they had acquired. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Ion Creangă, adapted for the screen by Constantin Rădulescu-Hodariu.
