A political player is presumed dead in a traffic accident; his relatives all try to cash in on his estate while he goes into hiding with schemes of his own.

The walk from school of two sisters will be altered when the youngest takes an unexplored path into the woods that leads her to a disquieting abandoned institution. Mesmerized by the building, the girl founds a scorch sketch book that warns about a menacing presence surrounding her, but her innocence doesn’t let her see that her life is in danger.

ETERNAL ASHES tells the story of a mother, Ana and her daughter, Elena. Although they are separated, in the space and time they remain united forever. The people and the millenarian culture of Yanomami are the framework of this story about the unbreakable bonds of filiations. After an accident in the furious flow of the mythical Orinoco River, in the fifties, Ana was considered dead. Elena as an adult and facing the negligible possibility that her mother is alive decides to leave to the Amazon to search her. ETERNAL ASHES is a story of filiations, poetry, wisdom and especially of humanity.

In 1890s Jalisco, Mexico, aristocrats Magdalena and Maclovia are in love, despite a society ruled by strict religious and social norms forbidding same-sex relationships. They must choose between embracing their love openly or conforming to the expectations of their world.

“Ashes from the sky“ is a naturalistic comedy about the love of nature and the inability of man to conquer the forces of development. In a paradisiacal valley crowned by a thermal power station, a villager (“Federico” - Celso Bugallo) has spent 30 years fighting for the closing of the plant. He firmly believes that the Kyoto Agreement will close it down. This is a contradictory story in which there is no unique truth. In “Ashes from the sky “ there are small victories and small failures.
