闹市中央，高耸入云的摩天大楼。唐老鸭和他忠实的狗狗普鲁托接到了帮大楼擦玻璃的任务。他站在木板上，唱着欢快的歌曲，狗狗则叼着绳子将他一点点拉上去。然而工作已开始就不太顺利，一个糊涂的女人修剪花草，险些剪断唐老鸭的脖子，而普鲁托的一个失误又让主人从空中坠落，险些摔死。第二次工作开始，这回普鲁托睡起了大觉，任凭楼上的主人怎么呼唤也全然不理会，这可真把辛勤工作的唐老鸭气坏了。历经艰辛，唐老鸭好不容易叫醒了普鲁托，然而不是用一桶金属零件砸碎了玻璃，就是招欠惹到了无辜的小蜜蜂。 惊险的玻璃清洁工作就这样开始了……
