Imagine the Doctor. Then subtract pacifism, fear and remorse. The Doctor is dead from Morbius' trap. But back on Gallifrey, a mysterious technician is attempting to use ancient Time Lord technology to create a new version of the Doctor; but not necessarily with the same ethics. This man will use manipulation, weapons, the sharing of forbidden secrets and the trust of his worst enemies in a scheme that is either for the greater good...or the greater evil.

An evil man founds a place of alleged rehabilitation for drug addicts, but his intention is to make them murderers.

During the Children of Skaro's Master Plan, the Daleks encounter heavy resistance. Inside the Dalek saucer, the Supreme Dalek orders that the Special Weapons Dalek be deployed to protect the Genesis Ark. The Special Weapons Dalek is then transmatted from the saucer to the battlefield.

A traveling monk discovers that three monsters have deceived a village into sacrificing a young girl to their appetites every autumn, for fear that their harvest will be ruined. The monsters leave a hint as to who could stop them: Hayatarō of Kōzenji in Shinano Province. Thus, the monk sets out to find this mysterious figure who could end the needless sacrifices for good.
