The film follows Marie, Jirka and their wealthy parents, as well as murderer Jiří Tichý. The film takes place mostly in southern Moravia.

Two detectives in New Hampshire meet with a family whose grandfather has been mysteriously murdered. The family and detectives soon come to believe that a werewolf is behind the killings, and the family starts to get picked off one by one in this dark comedy horror short.

The brothers Michele and Roberto Mannu and their brother-in-law Stefano Fais run the Babbudoiu Estate, a wine farm founded in 1948 in the surroundings of Sassari. The three partners are totally careless of the economic crisis and they waste money organizing lavish conventions for the success of their wines. But all this is doomed to an end. As a matter of fact the three partners suddenly find out that their company has 500,000 euros of debts and they only have 15 days to find the money. And it won't be easy: they'll try whatever, with an escalation of despair, comic situations, misunderstandings and absurd episodes that will lead to nothing. And when all seems to be lost, they find the solution which was right under their eyes: a glass of Bianco di Babbudoiu.

Kyle is the art director at the High Museum in Atlanta Georgia. He wants two things in life, a male child and a van Gogh painting valued at 275,000. His wife Brandy cannot conceive so he plans a camping trip where he will have her killed and hung to make it look like a racially motivated killing so he can collect the 500,00 insurance policy which will enable him to get what he wants. Of course, things don't go as planned.

Noriko, smitten with Iwanaga, who appears to be dating the school’s most beautiful girl, Nakayama Kyoko, gathers the courage to write him a love letter. In a twist of fate, she loses the letter, only to hear Iwanaga recite its exact words over the school announcement, revealing that their destinies are more intertwined than she ever imagined.

The John Steinbeck novel, which was published in 1939, is set during the Great Depression and follows a poor family of farmers driven out of their home in Oklahoma and set out for California. It was previously turned into the classic film starring Henry Fonda and directed by John Ford. Hipps says that the series will be set within its period roots but Bahrani has some “interesting ideas” to make it contemporary with music.
