A girl finds herself after failing her latest audition.

A man, newly settled in his new apartment, meets Ingrid, a young artist as beautiful as she is mysterious. His fascination with Ingrid and her complex life grows, and the neighbor discovers some of her dangerous secrets, linked to the dark world of magic. Halfway between suspense and experimentation, Ingrid delves into a world where artistic representations become the visual and auditory core. Based on his research into social media and including some amateur actors linked to this movement, Eduard Cortés has allowed the performances to flood the screen, turning "Ingrid" into a creative flow.

When Ingrid turns 34, she has to admit to herself that her life has not gone as she had hoped. She has been single since she was seventeen, she works in an underwear store, and now her parents are getting divorced. She can feel for the first time in her life that she is in fact like everyone else. And her biggest wish is one of the most banal and unoriginal in the whole world: to have a boyfriend. But how can an independent and proud woman like her find love under the increasing pressure of her biological clock and without losing face?

Eight years that cover her memorable love affair with Roberto Rossellini, their three children and five unforgettable films. It's an Italian journey through Ingrid's eyes, here in an unusual role as "director", and an emotional and at times exotic look at the country, part family life, part Dolce Vita. The narrator for the occasion is the actress herself, in interviews and other stock footage, with the exception of a letter to Roberto Rossellini which is the stuff of legend, read by their daughter Isabella.
