The intriguing story of a mysterious homeless eccentric called Kmêdeus (EatGod) who lived on the island of São Vicente, Cabo Verde. To some he was a lunatic, to others an artist. But to all, he was and still is a mystery. António Tavares, an important contemporary dancer from Cabo Verde, made an exceptional performance piece based on the life and inner worlds of Kmêdeus. He takes us on a trip through his hometown of Mindelo, the island's music and films, and the celebration of the its annual carnival. It thus becomes a search for the root aspects of one of the oldest Creole communities in the world. Kmêdeus, made by the Cape Verdean film collective Negrume, was commissioned by IFFR and is part of the African Collectives Project.

Extremely nervous passenger calls a taxi at rush hour and soon discovers that his driver can disperse traffic jams by laying hands on the navigator, and also change the color of the traffic light depending on his own needs. In other words, at the wheel he, judging by everything, was caught by the Lord, who briefly went up to the cab drivers, and the passenger himself was to become part of an inscrutable plan.

Father and daughter have been separated by 3,350 kilometres for seven years. He lives in Syria, she lives in exile. All they have left is to talk on the internet.

Robert Gardner has known Boltanski since the 1970s, when he invited him to the Carpenter Center for Visual Arts at Harvard as a visting artist, and the following years since Boltanski has become a major figure in the art world. Gardner and photographer Michael Hutcherson travelled to Paris to make a film about Boltanski and the PERSONNES installation process.
