Influenced by an astrologer, Pedababu fixes his sister's wedding with Arjun, an orphan, and plans to get him killed. However, Lord Krishna comes to Arjun's rescue.

Sri Krishnarjuna Vijayam is a 1996 Telugu mythological film, produced by B. Venkatarama Reddy under the Chandamama Vijaya Combines banner and directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao. It stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Roja in the lead roles and music composed by Madhavapeddi Suresh. The film is based on a small portion from the epic Mahabharata; 'Vidya Pradarsanam' to 'Panchali Parinayam'.

After vanquishing the army of the Kauravas, the Pandava Brothers preside over Indraprastha, and Arjun takes a journey to worship Lord Shiva. It is during this journey that he will challenge celestial sage Narad that no one on Earth can instigate him to go against Shri Krishna. Arjun will soon have to mince his words when, on Subhadra`s insistence, he will be compelled to take up arms and go to war against Krishna in order to protect Chitrasen - who had inadvertently offended Sage Gabal - leading to Krishna`s decision to behead the former with his Sudarshan Chakra.
