《LIFE!〜人生に捧げるコント〜》是NHK制作的以短剧为核心的综艺节目，于2012年9月1日开播，如今作为特别节目一年播放数次。这是一档以“人生”为主题，由内村光良为核心的艺人阵容参与的短剧节目，对内村光良来说这是他在NHK的首个常规节目。 据NHK职员募集特设网站的描述以及对构成作家内村宏幸的访谈可知，截至2012年在NHK播出的短剧节目《上班族NEO》《祝女》相继完结，这些节目的工作人员，包括NHK制作局第2制作中心娱乐节目部导演西川毅，还有负责两档节目脚本的作家们，都有了再次制作短剧节目的意愿。此时，他们决定打造一档以内村光良为核心的节目，内村光良曾参与过《笑う犬シリーズ》等众多民营电视台的短剧节目。

Mala is the daughter of Kishanlal who works as a servant with a wealthy family. One day Mala meets with the owner of this family, who is so impressed with Mala that he asks for her hand in marriage for his fourth son, Gopal, which Kishanlal humbly accepts. As a result, Mala gets married to Gopal, and moves in to their palatial home. While Mala is extremely helpful and sweet-natured, the rest of the daughters-in-law, three of them, are quite the opposite.

He decides to keep his news from Alka and Minni. What Yashpal does not know that both Minni and Alka have already received this devastating news - and both have decided to keep a brave front and also hide it from each other...
