Once upon a time, there was a war between the Imperial army and Ninku, an elite unit of 12 zodiac warriors led by their master. Just when the Ninku were about to win the war, their master asked them to hold back and disbanded the unit. The series follows the adventures of 3 of the 12 zodiac warriors, along with the sister of one of them and a penguin, and the repercussions of that fateful day. It is a journey of friendship, loss and adventure, as they run away from the Imperial army who are trying to eliminate them.

The travels of the last four surviving members of the Ninku Ninja bring them to a town in need of protection, where they find that they arent the only ones calling themselves "Ninku"

集英社「週刊少年ジャンプ」で連載された桐山光侍による人気漫画の映画化作品。1995年のTVアニメ化を経て、東映アニメフェアの一環で劇場版が公開されている。 忍空組1番隊隊長を務めた風助は、超人的な忍術と体術の使い手たちと一緒に旅をしていた。彼らは用心棒を募集している村を訪れ、自らを用心棒として売り込もうとするが、そこには風助らを騙るニセモノの一団が既に名乗りを挙げており、風助たちはニセモノの世話係としてコキ使わることになってしまう。そんなある日、忍空使いを狙う拳法の使い手が現れる。ニセモノたちではかなうはずもなく、ついに風助たちと戦うことになるのだが……。

风助是一个样貌古怪（长得有点像哈巴狗）、个头矮小、食量惊人的小男孩,但其实是极其强悍的忍者。当时世界刚退出了战争, 战乱时决定天下的最后一战, 由忍空组得胜。可惜在和平安后, 当时的忍空组英雄, 郄沦为恶势力的组织, 在社会上无恶不作。风助途经的地方, 都发觉市民受着忍空组的欺压, 为了他们, 风助决意表露自己的身份, 决定独自对抗忍空组,原来他竟是……

根据真人真事改篇，讲述瑞灵顿街10号中，凶手John Christie﹑他的妻子Ethel及邻居Timothy Evans皆出现在剧中，探讨他们之间的关系﹑司法不公引致的悲剧及因此令英国废除死刑。 　　John Christie至少在他的住所绞杀了8个女人，包括他的妻子Ethel，其中3人被发现藏在厨房里，他因为杀妻而被定罪及被判绞刑。但可惜的是在此前他的邻居Timothy Evans被错误起诉，指他杀了自己妻子Beryl及女儿Geraldine，Timothy Evans在1950年被判绞刑。John Christie后来承认杀了Beryl，而Timothy Evans在1966年被赦免罪名。
