During the second world war, the Pathfinder squadrons of RAF Bomber Command were the elite.All volunteers, their dangerous task was to fly in advance of bombing raids over occupied Europe and Nazi Germany and "light up" the target with flares and incendiaries.

The Mission of Pathfinder Outdoors television shows is to reduce the 22 American veteran suicides each day by engaging veterans most prone to suicide, those living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Our purpose is simply to facilitate healing and PTSD management through supervised outdoor activities, Christ-centered focus and mentor ship, encouragement and overall spiritual growth. Many veteran experiences will be captured as keepsakes for the veterans as well as a vehicle to share their stories, experiences and testimonials with the public at large via our TV program. Our message then is simply to offer hope and healing to unseen casualties of wartime service at a pivotal time when their worlds seem hopeless.

Returning from their unexpected trip to Mars the crew of MR4 intercept a distress signal from Captain Wilson, a U.S astronaut, and must change course for Venus to attempt a rescue in space. However, through the space periscope, Brown sees what appears to be a settlement or a city of some sort. Desperate to investigate, Brown edits Wilson's message and tricks the crew into landing Venus so as they can rescue him.

A secondary mission in a new rocket, MR4 (Moon Rocket 4), to the Moon takes off from Buchan Island.
