Leonie goes to her grandmother's house with her parents and her little brother Simon. Simon wants her to read Little Red Riding Hood to him. The family's car suddenly breaks down. While her mother and brother try in vain to light a fire, Leonie goes to the entrance of a cave. She ventures inside. At the exit of the cave, a fairy tale land opens up.

One day Little Red Cap’s mother tells her that her grandmother is sick, and sends her to her house to bring her a piece of cake, a bottle of wine and medicine. To arrive at her grandmother’s house the girl must cross the woods, and there she meets a bad old wolf.

When Markus sees a girl in front of his house and brings her, his partner, Annika, is not comfortable about it. The girl knows details about the couple and begins a mind game that goes far beyond rationality.
