Founded in 1884, Redbridge Rovers Football Club are one of the oldest football club's in the English football system. This amateur team are currently sitting second from bottom of the local league, playing in front of crowds that average 27 people at their Spartan ground that is located two miles down a dirt track next to the local rubbish dump. Despite this they (like all sports teams) have their own collection of fans who turn out week in, week out to watch them play, meet their friends and discuss the latest defeat over a beer and a packet of pork scratchings in the social club bar. Running the place is matriarchal, hardworking but loose-lipped Doreen - whose meat raffles are legendary and have kept the punters coming through the doors for all these years. Obsessive fan Pete Mott is like a walking, talking almanac of facts, figures and statistics relating to his beloved team. Pete regularly meets his friend Tel at the club, but Tel has surprised him by coming out as gay and has now...

The Road Rovers are a team of five super-powered crime-fighting anthropomorphic dogs known as "cano-sapiens". Their leader is Hunter, a golden retriever mix from the United States. The Rovers' boss is a scientist known as The Master who oversees their operations and supplies them with equipment from their subterranean headquarters.

The Irish Rovers was formed by Will Millar, who was living Calgary, Alberta. He brought his brother George Millar & his friend Jim Ferguson from Toronto in 1963; which began the inception of the band. Both boys haled from Ireland. After working successfully in California, where they introduced the song 'the Unicorn', the team returned, eventually to Canada where they began a variety show of Irish folk songs. George's cousin, Joe Millar emigrated to Canada & was immediately seized for the group as a bassist and talented vocalist. Will Millar left the group in 1995 & Jim Ferguson died in 1997. The Rovers now consist of six members including the original founder & his cousin.

Party with the Rovers was the third music-variety series hosted by The Rovers (aka The Irish Rovers). The show was set in a traditional pub setting with celebrity guests joining The Rovers each week. Throughout the two years guests included Tommy Makem and Liam Clancy, Andy Gibb, The Good Brothers, Ronnie Prophet, Lonnie Donegan, Rita Coolidge, Boxcar Willie and many more. The series was produced by Vancouver's Olympic Films for Global Television in conjunction with ulster Television in Ireland. The series was syndicated around the world.
