In the big city, a man can climb the career ladder, walk down the aisle and find himself six feet under - all in his sleep.

Evie struggles to come to terms with the funny and sometimes painful discrepancies between measured-time and time as she really experiences it. From the agonizing Morning After-Time to the merely annoying Snooze-Time. As Evie's life progresses her experience of time gets even more confusing. The significant events in her early life become more distant until she arrives at the Contradiction-Time of old age: the days seem to creep by , but oddly, Christmas comes around faster each year. It becomes clear that time is playing it's cruelest trick of all: it's running out.

Forest ranger Clyde is given an order to make sure the park bears are not disturbed from their winter hibernation. He inspects their cave and finds Chilly Willy trying to sleep among them. He hollers at Chilly not to wake them up, waking one bear up himself. He sends the sleepwalking bear back to bed but it isn't that simple. The bear continues to sleepwalk going on a wild ride through the woods after Chilly gets him to put some skis on. The bear finally stops... and is now sleeping in Clyde's bed. Clyde returns to the cave where all the bears are now sleepwalking and Chilly is giving each one a lit dynamite stick!

Elmer Fudd walks out of a typical Bugs cartoon, so Bugs gets back at him by disturbing Elmer's sleep using "nightmare paint."
