德国系列剧《Stromberg》（2004年首播），也是以《The office》为原型，但没有获得官方的改编权，开播后不久，德国的制作人被迫将Ricky Gervais与Stephen Merchant加入到“鸣谢”部分，并注明为此剧的“灵感来源”（Ricky Gervais后来补充道：不便详细透露，但是双方达成了某种协议，并且都非常满意）。 德国版本的《Stromberg》，在2007年11月到2008年1月播映的系列剧《Switch Reloaded》中名叫“Obersalzberg”的一段幽了一默，Obersalzberg是希特勒退休后隐居的山的名字，希特勒则为那一片区域的地方管理员。这一段剧集采用了《The office》的体裁元素。
