Charlie is a 16-year-old orphan struggling to raise her two younger brothers when she endeavors to train a wild horse she names Sylvester and turn him into an Olympic jumping champion.

Sylvester Cat is a lisping, inept, and often loud-mouthed cartoon alley cat with a penchant for chasing elusive mice and a weakness for various types of fowl, especially an innocent-looking but fiesty yellow canary named Tweety, whom Sylvester would like nothing better than to roast and eat. Each episode of this series contains three theatrical cartoons featuring Sylvester, two of them with Tweety, the other featuring Sylvester away from Tweety and often with his little son, Junior, and Hippety Hopper, a baby kangaroo he always mistakes for a giant mouse.

The Duncan family is beside itself when son Sylvester turns himself into a rock to escape the jaws of a hungry lion.

The title of this cartoon is a misnomer, because it is in fact Tweety Bird who is the homeless one here, and Sylvester is Granny's pet. Tweety seeks shelter from a blizzard and taps on Granny's house door. Sylvester answers and grabs the canary. He tries to hide Tweety from Granny while evading the attacks of Hector, Granny's bed-ridden bulldog, who wants revenge on Sylvester for his broken leg. Tweety keeps escaping Sylvester's clutches, with Hector's help.

The action takes place in Paris in the 1860s and 1880s. The main character is an old scribe, obsessed with a noble passion for ancient manuscripts. One day, he helped a poor woman who lived next door by sending her a cup of broth and a log for the fireplace. Bonar soon forgot about his deed. Eight years later, he received an old manuscript as a gift, which he had long dreamed of, and was surprised to learn that the giver was the woman he had helped in a difficult moment.
