A biopic based on the life of one of the pioneer argentine rock stars 'Tanguito'. The movie tells the story of his rise and fall from grace, encompassed in violent times of a military regime.

The story revolves around a 34-year old, workaholic detective who is burnt out, having immersed himself in an investigation involving the ruthless murder of nine girls. He managed to capture the killer, but his emotions get the better of him, possibly jeopardising the trial. His boss sends him away to cool down, and he ends up in a small town in the middle of the Karoo. Here, he meets a passionate and beautiful woman who is dying of cancer. His only goal is to fight boredom until he is allowed to resume his detective duties, while her dying wish is to dance one last tango before her life is over. He reluctantly agrees. Meanwhile the murderer wakes from his sedation and puts his plan for revenge into motion

The tango king Harry Koivikko was found dead six years ago in a sleazebag motel, with a knife is his back. The biggest manhunt in the county faded away without results. It is the middle of the 1980s in Soviet Estonia and many people dream of a new apartment with all the comforts in the Mustamäe apartment building. Bartender Illar is no exception. However, fulfilling the dream is not at all easy, bringing with it various machinations involving an emotional lover, a helpful militia and, of course, Illari's great-moustached companion Ats.

Since her husband is distracted by his passion for horse racing, Lucia decides to make him jealous by pretending to be the lover of his bodyguard, Diego.

A woman feeds her husband with scraps and gives the best food to her lover, whom she hides in the attic. The husband abandons her and goes and lives with a young girl who drags him into a sadomasochistic relationship.

The story is centered in an extravagant local, half cabaret specialized in tango, half illegal bar for social gathering and gambling party, which give the name of Tango. It developed the adventures in which involve the main characters in the series and making exuberant parades in the gallery of characters appearing aristocrats, beggars, prostitutes, players, secretaries and politicians. Between the actual adventures appears in flashback the remembers of the owner of local, Marcos Galán, and him life as young emigrant in Uruguay, her raise as rogue playboy and come back to Spain converted in a so called “Indiano“.

Believing his wife to be unfaithful, a husband deserts her and his child. Destitute, the woman is forced to take a job as a tango dancer.
