Based on a novel by Tatiana Polyakova. A mysterious murder happens in the native town of a Moscow journalist Lana (Karina Razumovskaya). Her old friend Svetlana (Anastasia Privalova) was killed. She was an eccentric person, who always tried to imitate her more successful friend. Weird messages left by the deceased force Lana to start her own investigation. It seems that Lanas beloved is involved in the death of her friend - Special Forces soldier Valera (Grigoriy Kirdyashkin) who disappeared five years ago and who bore a nickname of “Dragonfly“. The desire to justify Valera and dispel her own suspicions brings Lana into trouble: someone remaining in the shadows is clearly trying to let her know - she would follow Svetlana, if she does not leave the town.

The good-natured scholar Christian-Theodore arrives in a small country where miracles occur. He falls in love with the beautiful Princess, whose marriage is a matter of national importance, because her husband will become the new king. As the night creeps on, however, it becomes clear that someone--or something--has lied to get them in the house. It's not long before someone mentions that Spektor Island is supposed to be haunted. Of course, no one in the house believes in ghosts. At least, not until the first murder.
