Steve Mertens and Birgit Baukens, a non-stereotypical gay guy and a wannabe career woman, decide to share a house. To cover the rent, they take in three others: Birgit`s ex-boyfriend Tom Derijcke, party animal Zoë Zonderland and wicked computer nerd Akke Impens. Complemented by their landlord`s hyperactive daughter Jasmijn De Ridder, they soon form a crazy but close group of friends. Later on the series, they are joined by Carlo Stadeus, Akke`s best friend, who is physically obsessed by Birgit. Finally, after a switch in house owners, the pedantic teenager Kim De Hert is the last one to force herself into the gang. As the series strolls towards it`s conclusion, each of these characters seems to be facing a future it did not expect.
