The lives of three lifelong buddies in a small New England fishing town will never be the same after The Week That Girl Died, a touching romantic comedy about finding Ms. Right-at all the wrong times. And Ralph (Patrick Fischler) woke up a virgin on Friday morning only to have that situation reversed two times over by Saturday night. With an original score by jazz musician Kevin Eubanks (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno) "The Week That Girl Died" takes the notion of the romantic comedy and gives it a dose of what real people go through.

Dick Romans is a washed up TV host whose wife walks out on him the day before their ten year anniversary celebration. Alone with his thoughts, his dog, and a ton of booze, Dick decides to go through with the week-long party... by himself. The seven event-filled days become Dick's reluctant vision quest, filled with odd characters, awkward romance, and some long-overdue self examination.

"The Week" tells the story, as the title suggests, of seven days. Each day has its own main character which is named after the day. There are seven different stories which are not connected to each other. Montag (Monday) is a young, hopeless man without a job. This monday he saves a woman from being raped... Dienstag (Tuesday) wants to run away from our hectic, commercial world and tries to find his way in the woods... Mittwoch (Wednesday) is a drug dealer who wants to do his last job... Donnerstag (Thursday) is homeless and lives on the street. All his hope is gone until a girl comes by... Freitag (Friday) works in a movie theater and secretly loves her co-worker Peter... Samstag (Saturday) is left by his girlfriend Gianna and now for the first time realizes how much he has loved her... Sonntag (Sunday) tells us what happened to the remaining characters and draws a conclusion...

Grams is the one who takes up arms for moral rigor; Herrhausen however seizes power and dies when powerful.
