Victorie Stastná fulfills her dream of studying acting at the academy in Prague. But she soon discovers that her original ideals don't match with reality. She becomes a part of a group of students who understand acting career in a very different way than she does. In a world of parties, where "being successful" is to be seen in the tabloids, Victorie gets far beyond her personal moral principles. How far will she be willing to go to get the success?

关于这部影片，我实在是不好介绍，因为我只看过一次而且根本就没怎么看懂。2000年我在美国旧金山国际实验电影节上的东欧作品参展单元看到这部电影，给我留下深刻印象是不是本片的剧情或摄影手法多复杂，而是本片从头到尾全部都是反向拍摄的！大概基本的剧情是讲一个人从出生到成年到结婚到由于某些原因害死妻子到最后法庭审判到执行死刑，但由于影片导演的大胆创意将其逆向拍摄，所以我们看到的情节开始是主角被执行死刑最后才是主角的出生，全家的快乐，而更疯狂的是，全片所有演员的行为，动作，场景，甚至连对白都是反着的，我们能看到倒着走路的人物，死刑犯死后复生，甚至首先听到的是对话中的答案，然后才听到别人的问话！实在是比较复杂吧，你能想象一部70分钟的影片完全反着拍摄吗？如果你没有一点反向思维能力，估计很难看懂影片。这是电影史上独一无二的一部完全反向拍摄的故事长片，我实在搞不懂导演为什么要这样拍片，也许是真的想追求一个真正快乐的结局吧。导演奥德里奇.利布斯克虽然不属于捷克新浪潮的一批，但在捷克电影史上是一位很有创新意识的剧情片导演，他1964年的讽刺剧杰作《雷蒙纳多.乔》被誉为最经典的捷克电影之一，他所有的影片之中唯有这部影片是最最独特的，不得不怀疑导演当时拍片的时候是不是病了才会想出这么一个古怪疯狂的点子。 自2000年后我一直在找这部古怪但对健脑倒是颇有好处的怪鸡电影，目前依然一无所获，估计在捷克本土也很少放映更别说国外了，希望有机会再看一遍，应该就能看懂了。

Young Filip is cursed with terrible luck ever since his father dared to outwit Lady Fortune herself, and to make matters worse, Filip falls hopelessly in love with Fortune’s daughter, Hanička.
