《一，二》运用极简的对白和画面，讲述了一位无名女子的隐秘抗争，营造出一种世界性的隔离情境，直指现实存在的异化和规训。

In the clouds high above Earth lies a mythical playground where the young generation of Greek goddesses, gods and monsters come together to play. Among them is Yios, a little boy with a shining sun on his head which he has inherited from his father, the god Helios. While his father’s crown creates beautiful patterns, Yios is struggling to control his shine. His rays explode in unexpected directions, creating trouble and making the other youngsters avoid him. Despite his eagerness to belong, the mishaps keep piling up and the situation escalates: the other kids devise a mean prank which leads to Yios falling from the clouds, all the way down to Earth. In this strange and unfamiliar place, Yios meets someone entirely unexpected.

Originally shown as three separate films, I. / II. / III. is a triptych portrait of the most intimate proportions. Simple scenes within the domicile become completely entrancing as layer after layer of exposure unfurls onto itself. Jeppe和Cecilie在高中新学期开始的时候认识对方并且迅速的相爱了，但是生活却不像Jeppe想的那样顺利。Cecilie患有癌症，因此性格喜怒无常，不喜欢与人亲近，在Jeppe的善良和理解下，Cecilie逐渐变得开朗，决定让接下来的每一天都过得有意义。

麦克纳马拉是可口可乐公司西德分部的总经理，长久以来，他默默地为公司辛勤工作，业绩屡创新高，是上司眼中的红人，亦是最有希望获得晋升的职员。某日，上司致电麦克纳马拉，告知他自己的女儿斯嘉丽即将前往西德游玩，希望麦克纳马拉能够成为她的监护人。 然而，让麦克纳马拉没有想到的是，斯嘉丽尽管年纪轻轻，个性却极其热情奔放，来西德没多久，便同一位名叫奥托的男子坠入了爱河，他们不仅结了婚，斯嘉丽的腹中甚至还有了奥托的骨肉，更糟糕的是，奥托来自于东德，是一位根正苗红的社会主义者，鄙视资本主义的一切。就在这个节骨眼上，麦克纳马拉得知上司很快就要前往西德接他的女儿。

Kiarostami presents two cases for talking heads to evaluate in terms of morality, rights and responsibilities. Case One: Your son is in class, sitting in the back row. His teacher is writing on the board. A restless student in the back row makes a lot of noise. Not knowing who the culprit is, the teacher makes all the children sitting in the last two rows stay outside of the class until the weekend, unless they tell him who made the noise. After a few days spent outside of the classroom, your son relents and tattles on the boy who made the noise, so he can go back in and continue learning. Was he in the right? Case Two: The other students from the back row wait out the rest of the week outside of the class, before returning. Were they in the right?
