The story is about two families who asked Gim-Huay, a matchmaker, to pair up their children. Gim-Huay paired Fad, Thanachote's second son, with Nuch, Burana's oldest daughter. At the same time, Parncheewa, Nuch's younger sister, is trying to pair Nuch up with Panukorn. Parncheewa mistook Fad as a pervert, which made her dislike him even more and always try to get in his way. Fad and Parncheewa always argue with each other, eventually they fell in love without even realizing it. On the other side, Da, the youngest of Thanachote's household, really want Nuch as her sister-in-law, so she's always getting in the way of Panukorn. This left Fha, Thanachote's oldest son, to become closer with Nuch, and the both of them fell in love.

Critic Leonard Maltin describes "Three On A Match" as a "hard hitting example of forbidden Hollywood". That it is, no happy endings here, as this depression era film follows the rise and fall of childhood friends who get caught up in the seamy underworld of booze, drugs and gambling, ultimately trading places along the way. The three friends are Mary Keaton Bernard (Joan Blondell), Vivian Revere Kirkwood (Ann Dvorak) and Ruth Wescott (Bette Davis), shown growing up between 1919 and 1932 as a montage of newspaper headlines place the story in a historical context. Blondell's character is a reform school standout, whose life experience puts her in a position to counsel a depressed and "fed up with everything" Vivian. Viv takes up with small time hood Mike Loftus (Lyle Talbot) after disappearing with her young son from a cruise ship. Loftus ingratiates himself with mobster Harve (Humphrey Bogart in a minor role) and his boss Ace (Edward Arnold) by going into debt for two grand. The desperate creep attempts to blackmail the boy's father, wealthy lawyer Robert Kirkwood (Warren William), but that plan heads south as the cops quickly close in. Vivian's resolution is one of the more depressing finales to a tale that realistically depicts a pair of unfortunate souls whose lives spiral completely out of control. The film does have it's share of light moments; one of the newspaper clippings describes the new fashion trend in beachwear, a "brief" sun suit, ably modeled by Bette Davis. In stark contrast, Mr. Kirkwood's attire of choice is a business suit and tie while sitting under a beach umbrella, hard to work up a good tan that way. Davis' screen time is limited but effective, with a sit up and take notice scene where she's shown wearing just a slip early in the film, rather daring for the era and showing more skin than one might expect. Warner Brothers/First National masterfully portrayed the down and out, seamy underside of life during the 1930's, '40's and '50's, tackling all manner of subjects in their movies. "Three On A Match" tells it's tale without a wasted moment, sometimes relying on scenes that only last a few seconds to move the story along. It's hard edged and no nonsense, all the more provocative for it's mature subject matter and realistic portrayals; highly recommended.

Meaningful story about love. The story began when Ann as Rachawadee started her day by coming to the famous school located near the remorse palace of a royal family as a teacher and the teachers was staying in the house near the school, when she was sitting in the car on the way from the main gate through the building of the school she saw a guy with white clothes staring at her, she felt strange but ignored it. The first day she slept on the teacher's dorm she dreamt of the remorse palace and someone calling out her name until she woke up and saw the palace through the window of her room with curiousity. Eventually she knew that she looked like Chak Nang Noi, the bride of the owner of the palace. Chak Nang Noi was a beautiful princess from Lao who was not being akcnowledge since she was not from Thailand royal family even though her aunt was the concubine of the Thai's king. The prince, Chak nang noi aunt's grandson fell for her and created a beautiful song for her, Chak Nang Noi playing the violin while he was playing the piano, both were in love. Hence they got married despite the fact that he had a fiance but his ex-fiance poisoned Chak Nang Noi until she died and the prince also died of sadness. Rachawadee could remember their song and played it with her violin without even realising it. The prince (Num) ghost was still there waiting for Chak Nang noi to come back, he befriended with Rachwadee and she fell for him one more time. However the prince's ex-fiance was still alive as the owner of the school and her nephew (Chai) who owned the palace was in love with Rachawadee, she tried to hurt Rachawadee by poisoning her but at the end she died of terrible death and Rachawadee still alive. Rachawadee was sad because the prince's spirit who taught her to play piano who she had been in loved with already gone so she lived in temple and died there. Years later the prince had rebirth as the son of the ex-fiance's nephew with evil mother while Rachawadee rebirth as a daugther of Rachawadee's friend and they met again fell in love and overcome the obstacles until they got married and lived in the palace. It's a fate.
