When the Shah-era Ministry of Culture asked Ebrahim Golestan for a documentary on Iran’s crown jewels, they didn’t expect an acidic indictment of the regime’s politics. Previously released only in a diluted version, this vanguard masterpiece can now be seen for the first time in its unexpurgated original version. Ebrahim GOLESTAN (1922, Iran) grew up in a well-to-do family. He founded his own film studio, Golestan Films, in 1957. After meeting the controversial Iranian artist Forugh Farrokhzadher in 1958, he became a close associate hers. Inspired by her to pursue his own artistic vision, he began directing his own short documentaries. In 1965 he released his first feature, BRICK AND MIRROR. His second feature, THE SECRETS OF THE TREASURE OF THE FINN VALLEY (1974), would prove to be his last film: Golestan left Iran in 1975, settling in the United Kingdom and focusing completely on his writing.

《珠宝》是巴兰钦大师最经典的芭蕾，分为绿宝石、红宝石、钻石三幕，分别代表法兰西学派的浪漫端雅、美国学派的自由奔放、俄罗斯学派的巍峨高贵，是巴兰钦“舞蹈是看的见的音乐”的编舞理念的最好体现，无剧情，只是纯粹而无尽诗意的美的享受。巴黎歌剧院05年这版巨星云集，奉献了该团那一代人最好的阵容，多数主演现已退役。

It is the story of a family on the first of September 1941, which undergoes changes during the occupation of Iran by the Allies.

It took two years for Mehran Tamadon to persuade the four supporters of the Iranian regime to risk taking part in an experiment with him. Now he receives them as guests at his family’s country house to try out something that does not exist in Iran: a pluralistic society. As the women disappear into the guest rooms, the men discuss the advantages and disadvantages of a secular society, the veil, abortion, freedom of the press… The guests not merely outnumber the filmmaker, who is critical of the regime, but are also masters of rhetoric. Again and again, they twist his words and use them against him. His secular society, they argue, is just as ideological as their religious one. The mood is contentious, but there’s also a great deal of communal laughter, prayer and cooking. In the end, the attempt to create a social utopia fails as there are simply too many issues that are non-negotiable. But does that mean that the experiment itself has failed? After all, for a brief time, differing lifestyles and opinions managed to co-exist. A dialogue took place. For the filmmaker, however, there’ll be a high price to pay. (Berlinale 2014)

一次意外的车祸，在景区出售手工小饰品的普通女孩儿方梓妍和知名珠宝企业家之子宫宇烨认识。为了成全宫宇烨的孝心，方梓妍答应冒充对方离家出走的新婚妻子。之后的相处，两人成为知己。在宫宇烨的帮助下，方梓妍积极进取，实现了她成为珠宝设计师的梦想；方梓妍则因为妹妹方梓萱阴错阳差闪婚嫁给宫宇烨最小的弟弟，开始接触和了解宫家，凭借自己的善良和热情，无形中帮助这个大家庭解决了很多内部的矛盾和问题，和宫宇烨之间也建立了更深厚的感情。最后，宫宇烨真正的妻子夏洛伊回来，发现她和方梓妍竟然是失散多年的亲生姐妹。夏洛伊带着人生感悟结束了自己和宫宇烨短暂而又有名无实的错误婚姻，撮合宫宇烨和方梓妍走到了一起。
