The music is a little on-the-nose at times, but mostly it works and adds to the feelings through the delivery. As a whole, it may well have a narrative approach that is familiar but the gimmick of the delivery gives it a fresh feel, and, most importantly, the ebb and flow of the relationship is well presented so that it is relatable and realistic.

「夕やけだん団」は、東京都台東区にある日暮里駅にほど近いネコが集まる“夕やけだんだん”と呼ばれる階段から谷中銀座が舞台。猫のコトブキと“夕やけだんだん”を学校帰りに訪れる七海の、ほのぼのとした物語を毒舌を交えて描く。映画館の幕間にて上映されるショートアニメとなっており、公開は2015年4月を予定している。
