对于萘尼塔这个小镇来说，最大的体育赛事就是一年一度的自行车比赛。参赛者几乎遍及所有高中生到大学生，有来自拉吉普特学校的富家子弟，也有来自墨戴尔学校的穷家小子。这两年的冠军都是拉吉普特大学的无比傲慢的沙克哈(Deepak Tijori饰演)。桑杰(阿米尔汗Aamir Khan饰演)和拉坦是亲哥俩，他们就读于墨戴尔学校，他们经营一家咖啡店来补贴学费。他们的父亲一心想看到大儿子拉坦拿到自行车赛冠军，拉坦是个标标准准的好儿子，同时也是桑杰称职的好哥哥，他几乎样样都很棒。桑杰却恰恰相反，是一个顽皮的捣蛋鬼，从不把生活当回事，只知道玩，成天和朋友们在一起，高高兴兴无忧无虑。朋友当中就有个女孩安加丽，她暗恋着他。但是桑杰却盯上了一个新来的女孩，他一直把安加丽当最好的朋友，最后，自行车赛如何，桑杰和安佳丽的爱情又如何让，我们一起来片子吧！

兄弟情是什麽？家庭的牵绊是什麽？自由是什麽？爱又是什麽？ 在犰狳唱片公司的录音室内，鲤之堀家的两兄弟，哥哥Toraji和弟弟Haiji 正在为制作歌曲「Fantastipo」而一直努力着。某天，两兄弟突然接到爸爸金太郎的任命，要他们担任家族生意，在日本无人不知的犰狳矿泉水公司的社长和总经理。鲤之堀一家都有一颗自由奔放的心，爸爸金太郎在心爱的太太死去之後，便一直身兼母职。弟弟Haiji放荡不羁的性格更是令他担心不已。虽然长子Toraji一直在他们之间作调停，可是Toraji又未成熟得可以让他放心。虽然如此，两兄弟也发挥他们的创意，令日本再一次掀起犰狳旋风。那为什麽两兄弟会致力于创作「Fantastipo」？奇怪的歌名、歌词中的「那时候的我们…」更似乎隐含着两兄弟的过去。在制作过程中的烦恼和不安、得到和失去，似乎令两兄弟有一点成长…

A well meaning but inexperienced solicitor takes over a run down Newcastle legal practice. Featuring Robson Green, James Bolam, Jamie Bell, Susan Jameson, Robson Green has for a good while now been one of the most popular of UK TV actors, rightly so, charming and charismatic, Green's presence in a drama means we are usually in for a treat. Step forward Close and True, one of a few series Green made inbetween his star making stint on Soldier Soldier and his current major hit Wire in the Blood. It's a strong six parter (with an opening feature length episode) with Robson playing mergers and aquisitions solicitor John Close, who for the last few years has been working in London but dashs back home to Newcastle on a mission of mercy when his one time best friend, Steve Sheedy, is accused of attempted murder. Determined to help Sheedy any way he can, Close ends up also involved with the run down legal firm representing him, Simons and True. There is a clever build up as John gets to the bottom of the mystery and ends up becoming convinced that his future lies back on his home turf and maybe becoming a partner in Simons and True - something he gets the chance to do when Simons does a runner to Australia (the firm is in quite a bit of financial trouble) at the start of episode two. This second episode also heralds the arrival of the brilliant James Bolam as fellow partner in the firm Graham True (Graham is actually in a home for people with mental problems when we first meet him). The remaining five episodes see Close tackling cases ranging from assault to further machinations in the Steve Sheedy case. All the while Close is trying to get the firm back on its feet, revitalising the curmudgeonly True and rebuilding relationships with his family and friends, also finding time for a spot of romance too. It's a shame that Green didn't end up making further series of this entertaining show. Watch out too for young Billy Elliot himself, Jamie Bell as the son of Steve Sheedy. No extras but both Robson Green fans and fans of classy crime drama will certianly want to spend some time with this.

阿亮、阿军是亲兄弟。阿亮毕业后在城里安家立业，生活优渥。弟弟阿军老家建房娶妻缺钱，父亲上门借钱，被看不起弟弟的阿亮拒绝。阿亮妻子肖肖私下借钱相助，惹怒阿亮，他回乡要钱搅得全家不快。母亲道出实情，当年父亲摔伤致残，是阿军扛起家中重担、承担家用与阿亮学费。阿亮幡然醒悟满心懊悔，兄弟二人重归于好。

兄弟二人因分家事宜激烈争吵，父母分开赡养、房产对半平分，就连多分一只碗，弟弟也宁摔不让，兄弟情谊降至冰点。大嫂看在眼里满心焦急，多次从中调和都无济于事。无奈之下大嫂谎称大哥车祸、弟弟公司破产，骗二人赶来相见。兄弟碰面知晓真相，终于放下心结，化解隔阂重归于好。
