1776年，邦克山、约克镇、贝果山，美国南北战争正处在白热化阶段。在某个不起眼的平原之上，敌我双方爆发了一场鲜为人知的微型战争。红胡子山姆（梅尔·布兰科 Mel Blanc 配音）所在的一方向兔八哥（梅尔·布兰科 Mel Blanc 配音）的阵地发起猛烈的炮轰，而兔八哥这边只有零星枪声，抵抗力量薄弱。少顷，炮火暂歇，双方开门骂战，互不服输。狂躁的山姆绝不允许一只兔子这般胆大妄为，于是手提枪支向对方阵营发起进击，兔子也毫不示弱，迎头而上。双方你来我往，互有胜负。 　　战斗逐渐升级，两个死对头谁也不服输，而最终的结果也难以预料……

Bugs gets forced by Sultan Yosemite Sam to tell stories to his bratty son, Prince Abba-Dabba. The stories are shown through clips of old Warner Bros. Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies
