MBN新综艺《全国各地cook》是受演艺界至亲客人委托的浪漫食客，为了招待他们的一顿，寻找全国各地的特产在野外展开料理对决的节目。

在全国人民落实“九大”提出的各项政策和各项战斗任务的热潮中，伟大领袖毛主席和他的亲密战友林副主席于1969年5月19日接见来自全国各地的革命战士。中央新闻纪录电影制片厂、中国人民解放军八一电影制片厂联合摄制了本纪录片。

《世界各地》栏目于1977年开播，是中央电视台创办时间较早的栏目之一。自开播起，该栏目每周播出一次，持续推出以国家和地区为主题的节目，像“瑞典”“今日阿曼”等，在增进中国电视观众对世界的认知方面发挥了重要作用。 从1980年起，《世界各地》除了保证每年固定播出52期节目外，还会根据中国整体外交需求制作特别节目。1988年，该栏目开始尝试采用杂志化的栏目风格，这一尝试为中央电视台国际部90年代开播的《环球》栏目奠定了基础。
