Bandits led by Matt the Mute enter a bar and kill multiple people. Randy Bowers comes to town and is framed by Matt the Mute, who is working with the sheriff, who doesn't know that Matt is really a criminal. Matt the Mute writes out everything he wants to say. Randy escapes with the help of Sally Rogers, the niece of the dead owner of the bar. Bowers runs from the sheriff, and ends up in the cave in which the bandits have their hideout. They kidnap Sally, who escapes with the help of Bowers. Matt the Mute is killed when he enters the bar, which is filled with explosives, and the niece marries Randy.

His aim was to break the British rubber monopoly and produce this material in Brazil for his car production in the United States. Today, the remains of construction testify to the scale of the failure of this neocolonialist endeavor that lasted less than a decade. Nowadays, Fordlandia is a space suspended between times, between the 20th and 21st centuries, between utopia and dystopia, between visibility and invisibility: architectural buildings of steel, glass, and masonry still remain in use while traces of indigenous life left no marks on the ground. Although Fordlandia is well-known due to the brief Fordian period, one must not forget the history either before or after. Giving voice to the inhabitants who claim the right to write their own story and reject the ghost town label, Fordlandia Malaise blends together archival imagery, drone footage, tales and narratives, myths and songs.

故事发生在200多年前繁华的江户。原歌舞伎演员十郎兵卫因为受了伤而不得不改行当了杂耍艺人，他一边卖艺一边帮忙绘制歌舞伎表演用的大背景，以次辛苦度日。著名浮世绘大事“茑屋”主人十三郎，因为触犯禁令被罚带枷五十天。双手失去自由的十三郎想方设法维持“茑屋”的生意，他看到了十郎兵卫虽然技巧并不纯熟却带着迷人魅力的画作后大为震惊，力劝他成为画师。不久后，突然出现了一个浮世绘画师东洲斋写乐，他的那些以演员为主题的画作虽然招致了艺能界的反感，却风靡了整个江户。地位受到威胁的十三郎查知原来十郎兵卫就是写乐，出于嫉妒将他赶出了江户……

兰迪·罗兹的吉他即兴重复乐段重塑了摇滚乐，并提高了世界各地吉他手的水平。兰迪主要以奥兹·奥斯本的主音吉他手而闻名，并在专辑“Blizzard of Ozz”和“Diary of a Madman”中开创性的吉他作品而闻名，他一生大部分时间都在当时的小乐队 Quiet Riot 中演奏。离开 Quiet Riot 后，兰迪与奥兹一起演奏、录音和巡演，在佛罗里达州的一次悲惨的飞机失事中去世，年仅 25 岁。他的身体在那天死去，但他的灵魂和音乐永存。

萧条压抑的小镇剧院里，沉默寡言的亨利（戴安·巴卡尔饰）终日与他的木偶人（莱丝·克雷普尔配音）为伴，蜷缩在自己的“壳”里面生活。本一个彻彻底底的失败者，却在木偶人开口说话后改变人生。在木偶人的鼓励下，亨利终于有了上台表演的勇气。可是好运未能持续多久，木偶人开始变得不受控制，此时恐怖的谋杀也正步步逼近布兰迪剧院。
