Imprisoned on charges of rape, Izo is released from the confines of his cell and makes his way to the red light district, "Akasen," where brothels and strip joints line the streets. Izou sets out to search for a brothel in the hope of making a profit for introducing Suika. He is stopped in the street by Kimuraya soliciting customers, and runs into Shizumo once more. It is their first meeting in many years.
