A megacity, somewhere in Europe, in the not too distant feature: At 6 a.m. the sirens start wailing and announce the incoming sunrise. People leave the streets, windows are closed, everybody retreats underground. The sun's rays have become injurious to the health of everyone living on the planet, and mankind has taken to living during the dark hours of the night. It is illegal to spend any time under the sun. The Luna Corporation has taken control over police forces and media. They´ve got the monopoly on virtual reality technology and video stock of life before, which help those who miss the sun over their psychological withdrawal pangs. And for those who can't afford that, there are postcards from the daytime, sold on the black market by a guerilla style renegade group. Luna employee Herzog´s task is to destroy those postcards that threaten Luna´s monopoly. That is until he gets addicted to the sunlight and tries to stay outside at sunrise as long as possible.
