Out in the woods and away from civilization, what starts as a normal camping trip turns into a nightmare when four friends are confronted with shrieking alien sounds outside their tent.

An unusual feature of Dr Katz is the novel animation technique called Squigglevision, whereby, essentially, there is no lateral movement by any of the characters or objects, with only lips, eyes, and the like animated. However, the edges of the characters are in a constant state of zigzagging flux, and this gives the impression of movement.

SYNOPSIS At a euphoric party of abundant booze, Jin-ho is without a partner. Hye-mi had been running away from somewhat leftist classmates when she saw her father's secretary, Su-hyun, so she followed her into a hotel. There, Hye-mi learns of her father and Su-hyun's relationship. After a happy time with Gong-ju, Hye-mi dies in a car accident. In shock over her death, Jin-ho and Gong-joo decide to run away from the Rose Club. However, the owner releases the goons and they chase after them. Gong-joo and Jin-ho share a true love but the goons finally catch them. Returning to her sleazy lifestyle, Gong-joo ultimately decides to end her life.
