二战中，法国指挥家因为参加抵抗运动，不幸在失误中被炸身亡。指挥家的遗孀女高音歌唱家带着女儿和花匠及花匠的儿子还有一个房客生活在一起。不久，德国占领军，征用了他们的房子。女高音歌唱家全家被迫搬到地下室居住。刚好他们又在一次偶然中救下了一个英国军官。当时正在活跃在占领区的叫超级抵抗者的蒙面怪侠又把警察的视线逐渐引向女高音的家……各种矛盾在元首来访时得到了总的爆发……

故事发生在近未来时代，当沃坦星毁灭之后，由七个种族组成的沃坦人（Votan）来到地球寻求帮助，希望能在这里安家。地球政府与沃坦人展开了大约六年的谈判，最终拒绝了他们的要求。沃坦人不愿离去，战争随即爆发。地球人的炮火击落了沃坦人的飞船，却不知道这些飞船里装载有造地机器。这种技术先进的超级机器不仅彻底改变了地球表面的形态，还让地球的温度急剧升高，地面开裂，人类的建筑全都化为灰烬和残骸。战争持续了九年，交战的双方都无法消灭对方，只好坐下来谈判。他们很快意识到地球已经变成了一颗与当初完全不同的行星，只有搁置争议、共同开发才能让双方都生存下去。 然而，一部分势力试图在这里建立新的社会秩序....

C’est une histoire de deux enfants identiques dans des univers parallèles, mais ils n'ont pas trop la même personnalité dans ces deux univers : ils ont été invisibles ou fortement opprimés par des personnes et des choses de l'extérieur.
