平静的一天，急促的敲门声惊醒了杰瑞的美梦。他打开房门，没有见到任何人影，却在脚下发现一个提篮。篮中是一个嗷嗷待哺的幼鼠，名叫尼波斯（Nibbles），便条中写道请喂尼波斯牛奶喝。面对眼前这个无助的小家伙，杰瑞只得担负起照顾他的重任。幸运的是房间里正好有一盘牛奶，不幸的是盘子却在熟睡的汤姆的面前。尼波斯初生牛犊不怕虎，眼睛里只有牛奶没有老猫，他的鲁莽行为吓坏了杰瑞，虽然尝试用各种办法避过汤姆得到牛奶，可是终究暴露了踪迹。 小气的汤姆当然不会拱手将牛奶让给别人，他想方设法整治骚扰他的“小偷们”，混战由此展开……

老鼠之家将小尼皮送到杰瑞这里过感恩节，小尼皮似乎永远处在饥饿的状态，而杰瑞的窝里空空如也，没有任何可以果腹的东西。走投无路的杰瑞铤而走险，带着小尼皮去喝汤姆盘子里的奶。汤姆醒来，将奶一饮而尽，两个小家伙还得继续挨饿。 幸运的是，家中的女仆为感恩节准备了丰富的晚餐，杰瑞又打起了晚餐的主意。不过狡猾嘴馋的汤姆怎可能视而不见？他一面干扰杰瑞和小尼皮的行动，一面偷刮油水，双方必然爆发一场大战…… 本片荣获1949年奥斯卡最佳动画短片奖。

Anyone who is not familiar with the hungarian reality of 1920-40's, can not imagine what the essence of this movie is. So, even if you are not Hungarian, but want to see the movie, and additionally would like to understand it, you have to be open; you should know that different parts of the world have different histories, they have other spirits, and they could suffer and be glad in different ways than you. This film is an excellent adaptation of a masterpiece novel by Móricz Zsigmond. We can see the background of that age through Csöre's life, which only was a small part of the system, but her little impulsive existence carry the whole Hungarian reality in the 20-30's. Anyone who doesn't know what it means to run among the sharp corn leaves naked as Csöre did on the very first moment of the film, can stop watching the movie, because it is pointless. Czinkóczi Zsuzsa, who played the part of Csöre, recieved the main award of a child film festival. The director, Ranódy László, won the Hungarian Film Critics' award.

Thrown out of the house into the backyard, the three kittens are sheltered by a giant Saint Bernard and are tormented by a turtle and a bluebird.

The mice orphans arrive at a theater for a free show entitled "Mickey's Big Show: Orphan's Benefit." As they file into the building they are given free lolly pops, ice cream, and balloons by Mickey and Minnie from the box office. Donald Duck begins the show by reciting "Mary Had a Little Lamb", dancing "Sailor's Hornpipe", and reciting "Little Boy Blue." But when he says "come blow your horn," an orphan blows his nose and Donald gets frustrated. Mickey encourages him to continue, but the second time all the orphans blow their noses. Donald's temper flairs and he challenges them to fight, but is forcibly removed from stage. The next performance is Goofy, Horace Horsecollar, and Clarabelle Cow performing an acrobatic dance. After this, Donald returns to have his revenge by reciting "Little Boy Blue" and blowing his own horn before the orphans can respond. While he is laughing, the orphans throw their ice cream at him provoking him further. As Donald challenges them to fight again the orphans punch him with boxing gloves almost knocking him out. Donald is again removed from stage. Mickey then introduces the "Barnyard Nightingale," Clara Cluck, who sings a clucking aria accompanied by Mickey on piano. She is also harassed by the orphans, but seems to be unaware of it. Finally Donald returns to the stage one last time and quickly recites one line – "Little Boy Blue, come blow your horn" – and waits for the orphans to interrupt him. Yet as they seem well-behaved this time, Donald continues the recitation. But when he says "Where is that boy who looks after the sheep?" the orphans answer in unison "Under the haystack fast asleep, you dope." This angers Donald all the more, yet while he challenges the orphans to fight again, they tie bricks and other heavy objects onto their balloons, float them over his head, and pop the balloons with their slingshots unleashing a barrage which culminates in a box of raw eggs. When it's all over Donald finally accepts defeat and exclaims "Aw, nuts!"

After winning an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award for Son of Saul, the Hungarian director is working on his new movie, Az árva (The Orphan) with the same production team as before, but with another company – wrote HVG 360. The base crew of his new film is the same as it was in Son of Saul (2015) and Sunset (2018). The screenplay is written by László Nemes Jeles, Clara Royer, and the film will be produced by Gábor Sipos, Gábor Rajna and co-produced by Judit Stalter. The production company will be Laokoon Film. The development of The Orphan was supported by the National Film Institute (NFI) in October 2020 with seven million forints. This amount will be used by the creators to finalize the script, among other things.

故事梗概： 凌晨，神父在残疾孤儿院的教堂里阅读。天亮了，村民在祈祷的仪式中，进入到葬礼的仪式。在残疾孤儿院，最小的孩子里还有婴儿。两个结伴上学的孩子并不能正常地听课。更多行动不便的孩子只能发呆、在地上爬行。但他们也是天主的子民，在教堂里参加敬拜仪式。秋雾朦朦，村里在建造一座新的大教堂。昆虫、小猫、小狗、孤儿、做礼拜的村民，一切生命各自为安。夜里，疲劳的神父写完东西后进入睡眠。梦中，他到了一座坟地，与临终的母亲沉默相守。季节在变化，雨天，冬雪，孤儿们穿上厚厚的冬衣，行动更加不便。大教堂盖好了，人们迎来一年中最为盛大的耶稣圣诞节日，孤儿们也参加了这个节日。时光流逝，孤儿们也长大了，他们一起聚餐，好像在祈求圣神的降临。 导演阐述： 这五年，2012年到2017年，我每一次到河北省永年残疾孤儿院，都会被残疾儿童的生活状态和天主教区充满信仰的生活深深触动。残疾儿童如果得不到社会的关爱，他们随时都会面临死亡，他们的生存条件应该得到一个良好的改善。在我们这个无神论的国家，有信仰的生活对很多人来讲都是非常陌生的，对这样的生活我们的社会应该有一个最为基本的了解与宽容。在片中，我关注到死亡和信仰的仪式，偏离传统叙事，用镜头捕捉人物的表情和内心细节，遵循诗性和心理学逻辑，从影像语言上去达到人与自然所存在的某种象征与寓意。
