By 1972, the seminal English glam-rock band T-Rex was at the height of what came to be known as "T-Rexstacy:" they had already scored three of their soon-to-be ten straight Top 10 hits. To celebrate their success, Bolan and T-Rex played two sold-out performances at London's Wembley Empire Pool, captured on film by none other than former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr and released as the now-legendary concert film BORN TO BOOGIE. The only existing recording of a full T-Rex concert, BORN TO BOOGIE is centered around the dual live performances (with Ringo and Elton John guest starring on two tracks) and interspersed with an acoustic set filmed at John Lennon's mansion, goofy backstage footage of Bolan, and surreal sequences of nuns and dwarves inserted for visual effect.

From the mid-nineteenth century Indian labourers arrived in the Caribbean on boats, bringing a few belongings and their music – the beginnings of a remarkable cultural practice. More than 150 years later musician Remo Fernandes travels to the Islands to explore potential collaborations and create new work. Jahaji Music is a record of a difficult, if unusual and complex, musical journey. We walk around Trenchtown with Bob Marleys teacher and rastafari philosopher Mortimo Planno; accompany calypso and soca singer Rikki Jai to Skinner Park; chat with visual artist Chris Cozier in the Savannah; follow Dancehall Queen Stacey to Weddy Weddy Wednesday; groove to Lady Saw’s lyrics; record a new song with Denise Saucy Wow Belfon and are guests at an East Indian Hindu wedding. Endeavouring, through it all, to weave a story of memory, identity and creativity. Jahaji Music is an attempt to make meaning of aspects of contemporary culture in Trinidad and Jamaica, even as it is a witness to the nature and possibilities of artistic collaboration. Surabhi Sharmas earlier films include: Jari Mari: Of Cloth and Other Stories (2001); Aamakaar - The Turtlepeople (2003); and Above the Din of Sewing Machines (2004).

Liz and Daniel Hodges always dreamed of having a big family, but the way it turned out is better described as a miracle. Liz used fertility drugs to conceive young son Rowan and turned to the same drugs to try to add a second child. Months later, Rowan had not one sibling but five. The quintuplets -- four boys and one girl -- arrived prematurely and spent many days in a neonatal intensive care unit. "Hodges Half Dozen" chronicles the small-town Texas family, now supersized overnight. The series covers Liz's challenging pregnancy, their NICU journey, and their struggle adjusting to a radically different life.
