C'est l'époque du Palace, de la drogue, tout est bon pour gagner un peu d'argent, le strip-tease, les hommes de passage. Dans le nouvel Est, tous parlent aussi de grands départs, les filles surtout. Mais Marta n'est plus ici : Ceux qui sont partis autrefois n'ont pas leur place dans ce nouvel Est...

Felix from West-Berlin falls in love with Thomas in East-Berlin. At first they keep their relationship going by regular visits from Felix, but the curfew forces him to return every evening. When the East-German authorities become suspicious, Thomas decides to try and flee to the West.

日本東京都新宿區，是日本商業交易最繁榮的地區之一。這裡的交易，不僅只是商務貿易，也包括人性及尊嚴，既複雜又危險！這裡的外來人口眾多，最多的是台灣人，其次是韓國人，近來也湧入了大量的中國大陸移民。在JR（日本鐵路）新宿車站東口以東、那三十五萬平方公尺的小小歌舞伎町裡，有超過三千家的酒家及特種行業，其中台灣人所開設的就超過一千家！二十年來，超過一萬名台灣女子，懷著不同的理由，來到日本酒店工作，過著日本複製人的生活；也有另一群台灣男性，拋棄了自己的身分，隱身於按摩店與賭場中，過著如隱形人般的生活。二十年過去了，這群在台灣已經被「污名化」的女性，還有隱避消失的男性，或許可以寄回大筆的外匯回到台灣，改善原鄉生活的經濟狀況，但是在這個異鄉裡，他們又要如何書寫屬於自己的歷史呢？

「歌墟」是壮族地区的山歌集会，曾经广为盛行。它通常围绕宗祠或竜树进行，其间，男女相约而至，即兴作词，你来我往，对唱万物。 传递的山歌开启了一次迁徙。摄影机沿途抵达了不同的歌者与集会，流转于乡土与城镇，寻找着歌墟散逸的踪迹。

The film explores one of the most pressing climate change issues of our time – accelerating permafrost thaw releases greenhouse gases and unearths creatures carrying viruses and microorganisms from the distant past.
