制作人谢逎彪表示该剧的剧情风格类似1994年的《贵客临门》，故事以菲律宾老沃的育乐花园大酒店为中心，戏剧人物则虽故事单元而变换。72公顷大的花园酒店区紧邻司马仕行馆，全是漂亮的西班牙建筑，就连交通也一概采马车。而由于有菲律宾的酒店赞助，使该剧的进行更是顺利。 由于是中国台湾于大陆及日本的合作，因此演员包含这3个地区以及中国香港演员。

主要讲述了没落的酒店大亨之子朱一群（文松饰）带着家仆沈莫仁（贾冰饰）逃至奉天城，在一个废旧的戏院内准备重振祖业，巧遇马湖璐（王祉萱饰）、杨思瑞（马牧萱饰）、顾德白（顾宝明饰）、大西（成红饰）、柳三元（田川饰）等人后发生了一系列爆笑的故事。就在饭店众人的生活渐渐步入正轨之时，一场巨大的阴谋也在奉天城里悄然无声地展开……

The Hotel TV show was a drama series about the lives of the Management, staff and guests of the prestigious Saint Gregory Hotel in San Francisco, California.

An actress (Taylor) who hasn't done anything in sometime comes to town to appear in a play. A guest runs into her husband, the hotel's electrician who ran out on her seven years ago. And McDermott has a temporary secretary who can't help but try and run his life.

A friend of Peter's tries to channel his dead wife, which leads to some bizarre and unexpected events. Peter and another man both try to date Christine.

After Victoria dies, Peter is left in charge. However, there is one Cabot that wants him out. Christine and Peter express their love for each other and come out into the open. A recently divorced architect falls in love with a call girl.

Christine is dating a guy who seems too good to be true but what she doesn't know is that he has psychological problems. A couple of guests who are married to other people but are not with them get together. And an aging bellman has been making a lot of mistakes, so his future is in question.
