Normand, a retired policeman, works in a building as a night guard. One evening, he surprises Nathalie and Guylain in the middle of a robbery and, following a chase around the building, they manage to escape. In July 1944, with the Allies landed at Normandy but unable to push past German forces, a young German soldier is enlisted for a spy mission by a mysterious American OSS officer named Harry which could turn the tide of the war.
